I love so many things about this picture! the wooden side table, the vintage cameras & the Japanese calligraphy brushes. The flowers & rhino head pendant light are the icing on the cake! I think this picture says a lot about the person who lives here.

Simple pieces (the side table, wall light etc) set against a busy wallpaper is just the way to do it. Adding more pattern to the mix would get confusing and by keeping the colours in the same family with splashes of the black, it gives the room continuity. Love that wallpaper. It was custom made by Dan Funderburgh. Check him out - definitely worth a look!
