How fun is this?? I love that Sputnik chandelier. I regularly trawl sites like 1st Dibs and Vintage & Modern looking at these beauties. Personally I love the really busy starburst or floral style ones. One day I will get my hands on some!

My perfect Sunday is spent getting up early and heading to the flea market of choice, rummaging around coffee in hand, looking for that one piece that you take home and add to your collection. As far as fireplaces go, this one is definitely a keeper! This beautiful old French apartment belongs to actor Simone Bendix. Sometimes I want to move to Paris purely for the architecture - I mean just look at the chevron herringbone floor and the mouldings! Beautiful.

They say a tidy home equals a tidy mind. Now, I know this to be true but I think it goes deeper than that…..way deeper. Personally I’d start with your closet. I have a client at the moment who has requested 24 metres of hanging space and has 329 pairs of shoes (I kid you not!) This isn’t a closet - this is a shop…..anyway, one of the key factors to making such a large space work is good closet organization - and this isn’t just any “off the shelf” closet we are talking about. No, no, this is pure unadulterated custom closet design. She wants minimaI - much like a highend retail shop actually and it’s going to look amazing!

How fantastic is this work space? Sadly it’s nothing like mine, which is usually strewn with papers, bits of fabrics and wood samples. You have to be quite OCD disciplined to keep a work space like this - that or have a house keeper…… Still, I love how organised it is. It’s masculine yet playful - like a big kid works here :)

Perfectly industrial. It would seem that all you need are a few Tolix stools, a concrete surface and some oversized industrial pendant lights and hey presto! you have your own little slice of industrial heaven. This awesome restaurant & bar called Nazdrowje, based in Stockholm, was once an abandoned and disused parking garage. It was brought back to life by designer Richard Lindvall and we’re so glad it was! Yet another place to add to the “visit list” - when I eventually make it to Stockholm.

Good Morning Monday! So wedding season has long begun. Hurrah! Love a good wedding. There were a few this past weekend and a special congrats goes to my friend Polly, you looked absolutely beautiful :)

In another life I should have been a wedding planner. I love all the details, styling & decorative bits, not to mention fairy lights and naked lightbulbs! As far as I’m concerned you can never have enough. The last wedding I attended was in the Caribbean (yes, it was amazing). It was held on a private beach which formed a little cove and we danced under a lightbulb gazebo all night long. It was so simple and absolutely stunning.

I’ve been mildly obsessing over these glass panel garage doors for a while now. I blame my current client who keeps trying to bring her NYC loft look into her Notting Hill home…….. Still, I love this idea of using industrial garage doors as a feature to meld the outside with the in.
