Personally I love stainless steel kitchens and appliances. They have an industrial yet familiar and user friendly appeal to them. To make it less harsh pair the steel with natural woods - otherwise keep it light and bright like above for a more contemporary feel.

How awesome is this space? If you have a small apartment or you are struggling for space, then get creative and think of ways to make that space more efficient. Think vertically - putting a bed up high might not be for everyone but it can make sense as it opens up the space beneath and renders it useable, whereas before it was not. As a side note - I love the magazine racks which are called City Sunday and Tom Dixon pendant light!

I love this! Looks like a simple ikea storage unit and I’m loving the driftwood. My house is FULL of driftwood. I can’t explain why I love it so much, but I always have and always will :)

And continuing with the “on display” theme, I love this open shelving. Some would say this is unkempt & ugly, but I think it adds interest and it makes it feel like a home rather than a hotel :)
