TGIF is all I can say. I am looking forward to a weekend of r&r and perhaps some flea marketing!

Books, books & more books. One of simplest yet most effective styling tools. Note how the shelving is minimal and the books do all the talking :)

I have a house full of bits and pieces like this. Things I’ve collected over years, on my travels, from friends. They are like my own private story book.

Pretty awesome home library. I grew up surrounded by books and I know you can learn a lot about a person based on what they have on their shelving. I think the sign of an intelligent & interesting household is one filled with books.

I love collections of old photo’s, painting and posters. They have a informal, personal and intimate appeal. It’s like looking at someones life laid out infront of you.

As a hunter gatherer type this room fascinates me. I want to see more! Luckily you can, in the new book by Erin Swift called French Accents. I will be ordering this asap.

I am by definition a Bowerbird. I love nothing more than collecting weird and wonderful objects and curiosities. My flat is full of stuff I’ve collected over the years! If only I had an outlet such as the shop above to display (and possibly sell - although I do get rather attached to things unfortunately!!) my finds. All in good time :)

Sibella Court - one of my favourite stylists. She has a real knack for pulling together amazing interior spaces. Packed full of collected bits and pieces, she is a woman after my own heart!

I spy a Serge Mouille and Norman Cherner. Loving the black parquet flooring - very “in” right now. This picture just makes me want to see more! I’m fascinated by odd and quirky collectables like the little man in the glass dome. Pure awesome.

I love mix n’match art work. Make it personal - find a prime piece of wall and don’t be afraid to display!

Great display. Why not display your books like a magazine stand? So easy and effective!
