How fun is this?? I love that Sputnik chandelier. I regularly trawl sites like 1st Dibs and Vintage & Modern looking at these beauties. Personally I love the really busy starburst or floral style ones. One day I will get my hands on some!

How do you like your kitchen? Are you a minimalist? Is everything hidden away behind rows of perfectly flush “you’d never know it was there” cupboards? or do you like everything on display? I’m a display girl myself - as long as it’s kept somewhat tidy. I just figure that your kitchen is as personal as the rest of your house and if you’re going to invest in crockery and kitchenware then why hide it?

Subway tiles - you either love them or hate them. In the case of my father, they remind him of public toilet tiles………I think they have progressed since those days. It’s actually a good example of how something can be reinvented, viewed and used in a contemporary way. Surface tiles do a good range if you feel taking on the challenge.
