Ugh - I love a bit of velvet! This looks like a thoroughly lived in space. Homey and loved.

I spy yellow velvet……..my obsession hasn’t wavered. If anything my love for yellow and mustard is growing……..but perhaps my fav piece in this room is the pink elephant - it reminds me of Benedetta Mori Ubaldini and her wire sculptures. Make sure you her out - I’m dying for a neon pink pig!

What a busy space! Is it an office, is it a dining area or living room? I’m going for a combo of the later two. I love how it’s filled to the brim with bits & pieces and that bookcase ties in so well. It’s called the “Random” bookcase by MDF Italia.

A couple posts for you today. The first is an usual one because I hardly ever diverge from interiors, but I saw these paintings the other night and was blown away. I Love art. I studied it for many many years and at one point I thought it might become my profession. I always try to keep one eye on the art world because there are so many amazingly talented creatives out there!

These studies are by New York based artist Lee Price and I think these bath series are incredible. One might say she is tackling some demons - be it an eating disorder, depression, escapism - or perhaps she just found it an interesting composition. Interestingly enough she also worked with Alyssa Monks - another photorealistic artist who’s earlier works I love. Make sure to take a good look now. I reckon this girl is going to have a very successful career.

So I’m still house hunting. Yes 10 months later. I have to admit - I thought I’d love it, but oh how wrong was I. It’s stressful and whats more is that it feels like I’m competing with the rest of the world for the same house! Which, in honesty, isn’t even worth it. However, the benefits to looking for this long are beginning to show. I’ve realised what I can and cannot compromise on. It’s different for every person, but for me a bedroom with space is a must. Some see it as a luxury - I mean you only sleep there right? but I actually spend a decent amount of time in my bedroom. I guess it’s my escape, and the space (when tidy) helps me to mentally organise my life. Even if it is mostly subconscious. What are the most important spaces to you? What compromises would you make?

This hallway rocks! It’s old skool but still looks fresh & contemporary and I love how the tiled floor defines the main entrance.

What a library! These people certainly like to read. I think it could benefit from a little styling, but what a fantastic place to have dinner.

Talk about busy! there’s a lot going on here but it looks fun. That sideboard/cradenza is super cool. It reminds me of Zoe Murphy’s work. Make sure you check her out.

Now I don’t want to jinx anything, but I live in eternal hope think that spring/summer might be on its way here in the UK! which means it’s the perfect time to start thinking about those neglected outdoor spaces. Ok, Ok, so we might not quite be at the outdoor shower stage but how cool is this one?! Minimal and stylish with the shrubbery playing a large role in hiding the outdoor bather. I am envious .

How fab is this kitchen?! This is a foodie’s kitchen - and a wine lover’s. These people clearly enjoy cooking and a good bottle of vino. Sounds like the perfect recipe for a Sunday.

The sun is shining and the weather is gorgeous here in London! It felt something similar to this when I woke up this morning and who wouldn’t want to wake up to that?? Enjoy your weekend!

How do you like your kitchen? Are you a minimalist? Is everything hidden away behind rows of perfectly flush “you’d never know it was there” cupboards? or do you like everything on display? I’m a display girl myself - as long as it’s kept somewhat tidy. I just figure that your kitchen is as personal as the rest of your house and if you’re going to invest in crockery and kitchenware then why hide it?

The one thing I love about design is that it is so subjective. One person loves a room while the other hates it. It’s personal - however I think the one thing we can all agree on is “good bones”. The Bones of a house are its founding features, they lead the design and you’d be hard pushed to go wrong if you listen to it :)

Interior Designer. Images I collect which I love. It might only be a part of an image, a single object or the composition, but each has something that I am drawn to.
