Sometimes the lines between what’s real and not real can get a little blurred, much like this picture. What you say? It’s just a picture of a unkempt bed! Yes it is but it’s not real. It’s a very good 3D rendering or visual. As in - none of it is real. The whhhole thing is fabricated. For the most part I can still (just about) pic out these sneaky 3D visuals but they are getting harder and harder to identify. I’ll admit it, I was fooled by this one. Bit of Blue for you today. I need some brightness in my life as I’m trying to wrap my head around designing some kiddie rooms. This is of course way too grown up and structured, but the colour is inspiring and I secretly like the ceiling light. It’s called the Vertigo light and I actually think it would be great for a kids room as it has a theatrical whimsicalness about it, like some giant mad hatters hat.
This sort of resembles my bedroom at the moment - although this room is much more finished and mine is…..let’s say rustic. But this calming and softer environment is what I’m after. Heavy linens, brilliant white walls and a bit of worn leather. It’s pretty much timeless.

What a fab bedroom! It has a certain “collectedness” which I love about interiors. You know, the ones which look as though they’ve been compiled over time and essentially not interior designed in the professional sense. A “real” room - and that blue is fantastic! I think I may be trying out a new wall colour.

It is only Tuesday? * banging head on desk * It’s 16 days until I fly home for some Christmas R&R (Yeah, I’m not counting at ALL) and I have so much to do in between now and then. I need a clone, or 5. This image reminds me that I have to finish painting the walls in my deconstructed living room. It’s virtually the same grey which is exciting and moody and well, dark.
