How insane is this Melbourne home? To have all that light and character is such a luxury. There’s not a single blind or shutter in the place - which is fine. Some prefer that feeling of openess and some prefer a little more privacy. Companies such as Hillary’s Blinds can cater to any & all of your blind or shutter needs!

Pink is a bold colour choice - infact any colour that makes a punch is bold. Be daring! Try  it and make a statement. If you don’t like it you can always change it back. It’s only paint!

I’m pretty sure that neon sign says ” Cheap Death”…….not sure that’s what I would choose but each to their own. I secretly still love it! and the wonderfully bright Tolix stools.

Yet another fantastical loft. I would kill for a space like this! Now some of you may think that all the concrete is too cold. Solution? paint it. Dark, if that makes you happy - no one says you have to keep it natural!

If you are ever lucky enough to have a space like this then you will also be faced with the task of filling it! Which trust me, isn’t as easy as one might think. However, a great way to do this would be to do what these people have done - Fill it vertically. Take a look at Neville Johnson furniture. They specialise in bespoke furniture and can create virtually anything from small pieces to the super sized.

I’m a sucker for a wall full of pictures, prints, art, photography….anything really. Just smash it on there, neatly organised or in organised chaos - either way it will look perfect.

Ahhhhh Sunday. After a lazy morning in bed, catching up on blogs, magazines and property stalking, I’m off to the famous Colombia Road Flower Market. Enjoy!

Those chevron wooden floors are soooo nice and it’s good to see them in their natural colour. The trend right now is to have them in heavy dark colours but seeing them like this, for me, proves they are just as good in their natural state. Also loving that Plus 9 Hay throw to the right hand side.

That’s a pretty good combo. The neutral grey background allows the armoire piece to really stand out. Plus you have the whole mix of period & eclectic going on which is always a good thing as far as I’m concerned.

How fun is this?! It’s not very often you seen a kitchen that is as bright & bold as this. It may be small but it certainly makes an impression and why not?! Your kitchen is as personal as the rest of your house so take advantage of it. Design your own kitchen! There are many companies who will work with you and to your budget so that you can create exactly what you want. Go on, be daring!

I love the moodiness of this image. The Tom Dixon Jack light is such a contrast to the vintage crystal pendant lights, reasonably trad mouldings and storm grey walls.

Another from my clever friend Kristina Johansson. I especially like how she only painted the wall to the height of top of the window. It makes the ceiling appear to be a lot taller. I know that a lot of the furniture she buys is second hand but in perfect condition and she’ll splash out on one or two expensive pieces like the flos 265 wall light for example.

She is one talented lady! One to watch I’d say.

Interior Designer. Images I collect which I love. It might only be a part of an image, a single object or the composition, but each has something that I am drawn to.
