I’ve blogged this image before but meh, who cares. Why am I doing it again?!? Because I’m in the Caribbean baby! back home for a week for a mini break and a wedding extraordinaire! I Love being home. It’s a different pace of life and a chance for me to recalibrate & recalculate what’s most important to me. I dream of renovating a decrepit gem down here and actually, I’m sure it will happen, but all in good time. For now I’ll take inspiration from this! How good are those ceilings?

Whoa, there’s all sorts of good going on here. I’m loving all the tall, elongated pieces because they really draw attention to the high ceilings and by highlighting the window frames in black against the pale flooring, it perfectly defines the space. Good trick to remember.

What an entrance! Loving the monochromatic scheme with brass accents. It’s very refined and elegant. Very grown up. The pendant light is by Flos and the floor light looks like a Michael Anastassiades but I suspect it’s actually vintage. Works for me.

What a charming kitchen! Monochromatic can be quite a sharp, clean look for a kitchen but here they have cleverly softened it and in a way made it a little more “country” by way of exposed shelving, rounded lights and that large marble topped free standing island. It feels homey yet ordered (if there is such a thing!)

So I may have giggled a lot little at his name……but come on! Sniggering aside, I do rather like this black & white number. Makes me wanna get cray cray with my own powder room.

Toiletastic! Love this take on a toile. It’s far more dramatic in oversize. Quite niche I suspect but certainly makes an impact!

I’m loving graphic heavy, patterns floors at the moment. It’s a brave move but so good if done right. This serene bedroom also captures my desire of having a bath in the bedroom!

Loving the contrast between the rich dark floors and white white walls. The round coat hooks on the wall? You can pick them up from @Skandium. Perfect.
