How do you like your kitchen? Are you a minimalist? Is everything hidden away behind rows of perfectly flush “you’d never know it was there” cupboards? or do you like everything on display? I’m a display girl myself - as long as it’s kept somewhat tidy. I just figure that your kitchen is as personal as the rest of your house and if you’re going to invest in crockery and kitchenware then why hide it?

The one thing I love about design is that it is so subjective. One person loves a room while the other hates it. It’s personal - however I think the one thing we can all agree on is “good bones”. The Bones of a house are its founding features, they lead the design and you’d be hard pushed to go wrong if you listen to it :)

When my head is cluttered the last thing I want is to come home to a cluttered room. This would be perfect for those particularly hectic days. Love the inset of patterned tile.

If you’ve not checked out “The Socialite Family” yet, make sure you do! Constance Gennari is the brains behind the blog. Her articles are interesting and her snapshots of the families she writes about give you the perfect mix of home grown interiors, beautiful photography and an interesting insight into everyday family life. I love it because it’s real (not to mention understated cool!).

Pretty awesome home library. I grew up surrounded by books and I know you can learn a lot about a person based on what they have on their shelving. I think the sign of an intelligent & interesting household is one filled with books.

This little set up honestly tugs on a few heartstrings. I am in Love with the fireplace, the brick, the acrylic table and it most definitely would not be complete without the yellow velvet chair.

Sweet and feminine. Definitely a place you can kick off your shoes and relax - which is a perfect plan for this weekend. Happy Friday!

So many elements of this picture that I love - the open shelving, raw pendant lighting and the Smeg fridge. Perhaps one day in my cottage, somewhere in the world, I’ll have a Smeg.

Back in London and excited to be surrounded by all the sites and sounds of a busy city! Loving those bright pink chairs and that retro lotus floor lamp. Anything goes in city living.

I love collections of old photo’s, painting and posters. They have a informal, personal and intimate appeal. It’s like looking at someones life laid out infront of you.

Check out this awesome little Cafe in Stockholm called Snickarbacken 7. An old renovated stable, its part of a bigger venue which also houses boutique shops and an art gallery. Having never been to Stockholm - it’s next one my list for sure. Well, when winter eases up….

I love a four poster when it’s done right. Keep it light - Slim frame and not to heavy on the fabrics.

Interior Designer. Images I collect which I love. It might only be a part of an image, a single object or the composition, but each has something that I am drawn to.
